Emails are still a great way to connect with your customers.
Although social media now features heavily in many marketing strategies, email marketing is still one of the most effective ways of reaching your target market.
Based on research conducted by the Direct Marketing Association, email marketing is said to return an incredible $43.62 for every dollar spent on it in 2009, which is more than double the average return from other forms of online marketing and over 6 times the return from printed brochures.
So what other benefits are there?
You can add that personal touch to an email and tailor your message to suit each situation perfectly.
Its cost effective and it’s immediate, making it 100% relevant both to your business and for your customer.
It avoids you having to rely on your customer to remember to visit your website and captures those that may have forgotten about you altogether.
Plus its easy to measure the effectiveness of each campaign.
Knowing who has received, read and interacted with your email, can only help you get to know your customer even better.
So what now?
There are many elements that make up the perfect email campaign, but one of the biggest is offering a design that resonates with the broadest of customer types.
Building an email is different to building a website. Design and coding needs to be kept clear, simple and legible and should change often to keep interest.
There are many different types of email that can be designed such as, Newsletters, Quick Announcements and Offers, or more detailed Catalogue emails.
All that’s left for you to do now, is get in touch so we can help you decide what works best for you.

Here is an example of a Viral we produced for Upstream Connections a Brighton based SEO Company.
The purpose of the viral was to promote one of Upstream’s client websites, Language Trainers.
Although this was quite a low budget video, it still managed to generate over 250,000 views and 9,000 links within the first two weeks after launch. Give it a go… it’s fun!!!
